Like people, buildings have their best side, and choosing your perspective, composition and camera placement for both interiors and exteriors will be a focus. In this workshop we will examine the intricate relationship between architectural design, natural light and the weather, and explain approaches to artificial and natural lighting.<\/p>\n<p>The class begins with a step-by-step dissection of Stephen Schafer\u2019s assignment work, an examination of famous architectural photographers, and Q&amp;A. Walking around Hollywood, we will visit diverse places, discuss how to problem-solve, and plan for the best photographs. The day ends with a real-time twilight \u201cHERO\u201d shoot with Lightroom post-production. The class includes discussion of equipment choices and techniques from wide and tilt-shift lenses to keystone correction via software, as well as aesthetic decisions such as styling, lighting, filters, HDR, and post-processing software. On the business side, topics include: deliverables, licensing, access, releases, pricing and marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Open to digital and analog photographers. Please comfortable walking shoes, a tripod and a wide lens.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Dates:<\/strong> Sunday, December 8, 11 am \u2013 7 pm<\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Enrollment Limit: <\/strong>15 students<\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Skill\/Experience Level:<\/strong> Students should have a working knowledge of their camera and the ability to shoot in manual mode.
